"Sea of Love"

Hi there!
Do you feel tired of doing a tons of homework?
Let's see my review of the sea in Thailand I've ever been in the last two years.
Get the information, things to do, what to bring, and stunning Thai sea picture!

Hua-hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Rate :

Hua-hin is the oldest traditional Thai resort for Thai people who need a rest in holidays.
First time I went to the beach, I felt like I'm at Pattaya beach!
I meant I hate crowed beach with the beach vendors that offering food all the time.
Honestly, you should go there to do some beach activites with your friends.
But not for relax, swimming in the deep blue sea, or fresh atmostphere.

Hua-hin is not a good choice if you don't have your own cars, I suggest.
The cost of taxi, the food proce and the souvenir are almost expensive.
There are not so many nightclubs in Hua-hin compared with the other sea I've been.

The hotels in Hua-hin was the only one thing I felt impressive.
There are variety style of hotels in cheap price with stunning decorations design.
Let me know what do you think about this place.
For me, I went there third times and I'll never go there agian if I can.

Koh Larn, Chon Buri.
Rate :

Koh Larn is saperated island from pattaya, its just take three hours from Bangkok.
You have to go tho the island by the ship with cheap price.
Koh Larn combined seven bays, I've been all of them and I think they are all the same.
I love how I felt like I'm far away from the city while Koh Larn take fourty minutes from Pattaya.
Koh Larn enchanted me wih deep blue sea, the clear blue sky, and the white sand beach.
There are a lot of activities to do like skuba diving, snokerling, fishing, or jet-skiing.
The food are almost expensive because there are many tourist who come for one-day trip.
The hotels are cheap but not quite nice because there is just Thai people stay.
About the nightlight, I sugggest you better discover all the island all day long and
hurry back to the hotels. The beaches and the village are so desolate at night!!

The trasportation in the island may bothers you if you can't ride the motorcycle.
Because the road to the beach is in the mountain and you have to be careful
when you ride or even you take taxi. But I don't see any problem about riding.
I'm like WOW such a beautiful view from the top of mountain! So unforgettable!

Samed, Rayong.
Rate :

Koh Samed is not far form Bangkok, its just take six hours for the bus.
I went there when it was winter, the weather was so warm and there are a tiny wave.
So beautiful! Samed combined twelve islands which is so peaceful and private.
You can walk trough the mountain to the beach or take the taxi for cheap price.
The sea water was so clean, with white sand, wonderful rocks, and also the coconut tree
along the beach. There are not much beach activities here because most of the tourist
come to Samed for relaxing or sunbathing.

The hotels in Samed are high price, but the qualities are so good.
But the decorations styles are simply because most of the tourist
is the foreigner. Samed provieds many kind of food, especially a fresh sea food.
Some restaurant are expensive but the taste is precious and worth.

There are many things I felt in love with this place.
Especially, the pubs, bars, and restaurants along the beach.
Try walking along the beach, you will see the fire show which is exotic and cool!
Samed is the beach that never sleep and that's why I like that place.

At last, I hope my experience will help you someday.
Please let me know how do you think about that three beach,
or suggest where would you like me to write! See you guys!

Starry Night Music Review : Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal and Minus the bear : Into The Mirror

Today I'm going to review the song called White Winter Hymnal. This song comes from the five-piece Seattle called Fleet Foxes. This song was released as the first single in 2008. This album can be found on almost any "best album of 2008" lists.

I heard this song from radio one day and I really like the sound of it, but I didn't know its name. I kept looking for this song about one week. After that, I cannot stop listen to it. I think this song is catchy. I like the Welsh mail voice chorus which really go with its soaring choral harmonies. This song makes me chill out every time I listen to it.

Here is music video :

These are the guys who created this song.

Another song that I'm going to review is Into The Mirror by Minus the bear.

I'm not going to talk much about the band because I know only that it is American indy rock band and they are from Seattle, Washington.

When I listen to this song, I imagine there are people in the room using drugs (cocaine) and they are stoning. Only two people are in the bathroom, going to have sex. A girl whispers " you get what you pay for", I think it means that she has sex with a guy for drug. And,"But we do it for a taste of a good high, we do it for the sake of a hot night" I think she means that using drug and having sex together is going to make a better sex. After that, they act like nothing happened, without shame.

About the sound of this song, I think this song is really really catchy to me. I remember that I listened to this song over and over again before. I like the intro, the sound of guitar and the drum at the beginning. I hope you guys enjoy this song.

These guys are the member of the band.

The Legend One!

Last Saturday, I was having a hard time thinking about what to blog next, because there are so many good movies that I want to introduce them to you guys. I've changed my mind so many time, until I thought, if I'm going to show you a really good movie, why don't I start with the legend of American movie industry. Here it is! "IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT"

It Happened One Night (1934) is a romantic comedy film directed by Frank Capra. Starring the most charming, gorgeous, ravishing man I've ever seen, Clark Gable and the beautiful, funny, and lively, Claudette Colbert. This film was very succeed that it won five big categories of the Oscars in the year1935. Those categories are the Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Screenplay.

Clark Gable as Peter Warne and  Claudette Colbert as Ellen Andrews

The story of this movie begins with a spoiled rich girl, Ellen Andrews who wants to runaway from her father for doesn't approve her marriage with a gold digger. In order to live with her lover, she has to escape from her father's surveillance and takes a bus to New York City. That is where she meets the jobless news reporter, Peter Warne. During the bus break, Peter recognizes her face on the newspaper which her father announces the reward for who ever bring her back. Peter offers Ellen a choice, that if she gives him her story, he will help her meet her lover. But if she refuse, he will sent her back to her father. Ellen, of course, choose the first choice. On their journey to New York, they go through many adventures together and then become closer along the way. In the famous scene of this movie where they have to hitchhiking, Peter says he's an expert for this but after many cars pass them by, Ellen shows him her own method. She lifts up her skirt to reveal her nice skinny leg and the car stop immediately.

As time goes by, Ellen starts to fall in love with Peter and doesn't want to go New York anymore. One night she confesses it to Peter, but he stops her and she cries to sleep. In fact, Peter loves her too, he waits until he is sure that Ellen is really sleeping then leaves in the night to get money from his boss to marry her. Seeing no Peter when she wakes up, Ellen thinks that he lefts her. So she went back home to her father and agree to marry properly again with her old lover. When her father knows the truth that Peter loves his daughter and does not betray her, he cancels the wedding and helps Ellen to runs off with Peter. And then they live happily ever after.

The above picture is one of my favorite scene apart from the hitchhiking one. In this scene Peter build "a wall of Jericho" in order to makes Ellen feels more comfortable. But what I like about this, is that he also sings a song to annoy her. The song called "A Big Bad Wolf" and it goes like this.

*Sigh*, this scene gets me every time. This movie is really adorable and funny. Clark and Claudette's performance is amazing. Their chemistry was perfect!! I have to say that this is my most favorite film of all time. The first time I saw it, I went mad and I tried to find every Clark Gable's movies to watch. I was so obsessed that my mom said I need to stop............

Ha ha.

Everything Old Hollywood

Greeting to you all readers for my first post. My section called "everything old Hollywood".I have to confess that the reason I chose this topic is because, I am a girl who absolutely obsessed with all things Old Hollywood. There. I said it.....

Normally, people my age don't really get me when i told them about this. Some of them told me that i need to see more modern entertainments. They said old Hollywood stuffs are for older people, only their grandparent or their parent will like it.
In fact, IT IS NOT! (I'm not screaming).   Everybody in every age can appreciate great art if they don't judge it first. Here, let me be your guide to introduce you to the wonderful, marvelous, vintage, and classic, Old Hollywood!

The first thing that got my interest in old Hollywood is a black and white movie called,
Now, Voyager (1942).The leading star of this film is Bette Davis, who is the reason that made me fall in love with this film. I've saw this film when I was in grade 10. My teacher showed this movie in my film club and i was blown away by Bette's performance.

Now, Voyager

Bette Davis

This movie is based on the famous novel by Olive Higgins Prouty and directed by Irving Rapper. Starring Bette Davis as Charlotte Vale, Paul Henreid as Jerry Durrance, Claude Rains as Dr. Jaquith, and Gladys Cooper as Mrs. Henry Windle Vale.

The story begins with a women name Charlotte Vale, who is unattractive, overweight and depress all the time. Her life is dominated by her strictly mother, Mrs. Henry Windle Vale, which is the one that always abuse her with words that she can not be a complete woman with her lack of confidence.

With help from her sister-in-law, who's afraid that Charlotte will break down some day, introduces her to Dr. Jaquith, who helps her change her life and transform to a beautiful perfect woman. On the way to return home from the treatment with Dr. Jaquith, Charlotte takes the holiday on the cruise and meets a married manJerry Durrance. Charlotte and Jerry become closer and have fallen in love, but they decide they should not see each other anymore for the sake of everyone around them.

When Charlotte arrives home, her family is shocked and stunned by her new look. Her mother wants to control her again, but this time Charlotte doesn't do what her mother wants and remains herself. Later, Charlotte gets engaged to a rich widower, but by chance she meets Jerry again. She cancels the engagement and it makes her mother so angry that she has a heart attack. After her mother dies, Charlotte return to the treatment center again. At the treatment center Charlotte meets a girl who reminds her of herself, Tina. So,she asks Dr. Jaquith to help this girl. When the girl is better, Charlotte takes the girl home with her. Jerry and Dr. Jaquith come to visit Charlotte at home. Jerry is happy to see his daughter (Tina) becomes better. Finally, they understand each other and decide to spend time together for his daughter and their love. The End.

This film has given Bette the most memorable role. I think her performance in this movie is so amazing. In the scene where Charlotte has transformed, Bette can makes you think that she really feels like for the first time that she is beautiful. Oh I love this woman! She also did a great job when she was a depressed Charlotte. I really believe and feel pity for Charlotte's life with her mother.

Here is the trailer of this movie, Now,Voyager.

I hope you guys like this and give it a try some time. Remember, never judge things before you try it.

Until next time, my friends. ;)

Starry Night Music Review : Gorillaz - Melancholy Hill

Welcome for Starry Night Music Review Blog's own reviews where I will reviewing a song called Melancholy Hill by virtual band, Gorillaz, entitled Plastic Beach.

I started to listen to the band since they are famous in Feel Good Inc which was all over the radio in 2005. Plastic Beach is their 3rd album. They are fictional band. They have 4 characters in the band which are 2D, Noodle, Russel and Murdoc. (Murdoc is my favorite character.)

Personally, I love this song and their music video. I found myself delving into the deep, fictional world of them. A slight buzzing sound, spongy drums and pretty string riff make me feel relax every time I listen to this song. The lyrics also go with the sweet melody very well like "You are my medicine, when you're close to me", and "Does anybody know, if we're looking out on the day of another dream?". I found this is enjoyable and I hope you guys like it.

Here is the music video:
