Khao San Road
is an entertainment road for those who want to stay out of trouble and enjoy the perfect chilling night.
Last weekend I went to Khao San Road.
I found that there are also Rambutri Alley and Pra Atit Road,
which is many interesting things and they just take a walk form Khao San Road in a few minutes!
So, let's start with the delicious food I found from that place!

Roti-Mataba
at Pra A-tit Road
This restaurant is one of the most popular Islam foods that well-known for 30 years.
For those who love curry and Roti, you should never miss this one!
I ordered beef curry and I felt in love with it!!!!!
Also, the Roti are soft and delicious so I ordered it so many times.
There are many menu including beverage and dessert.
Such as Roti with banana, chocolate, milk and Thai tea in the cheap price.
Everything is not expensive, it's about 50-70ฺBath.
But I think the food is so tiny so you have to order one more.
Besides, this restaurant is self-service and the waiters are friendly.

Taketei Japanese Buffet Restaurant
at Rambutri Alley

Normally, Japanese food I tried is the same but this restaurant is awesome!!
There are over 100 menu in the cheap price(about 100Bath).
And also the buffet for 399Bath only!
There are many kind of sushi with good ingredient,
and fried food(or tempura) which is crispy and mellow taste.
The most favorite for me is Sashimi,
the fish is so fresh that it melt in my mouth! Such a perfect feeling when eating food!
Plus, I love the sauces that serve with the food.
There are blending in perfection and have
a different taste from the other Japanese restaurant.

Takatei Japanese Restaurant is open at 11.30pm
But buffet is available at 16.00pm
The restaurant is located near the swensense.
There are many tourist customers but it provides relax atmosphere.
If you get sick of Thai food, here is your choice to try something new :)

Khao San Road.

There are many street vendors offer Thai foods in very cheap price!!!!
For example, Pad-Thai, som tum, chicken noodle, grilled pork, or fried meat ball.
Most of foods are easy to eat and for those who hungry while drinking alcohol.
The food is not so clean but the taste is awesome!! So you have to shop carefully.
The amazing food I love at Khao San Road is fried insect.
OH MY GOD I never think they are so delicious!
The price is almost high compare with the other places but the tourists are loved to eat it.
You should not miss this menu, this is an awesome feeling ever to eat something scary :D

I guess you miss something if you go to Khao San Road without
sit in the bar and order some drinks!
There are many bars for you to choose as you want.
You can choose crowed club with various kind of dance music,
chilling bars along the street or private bar with romantic feeling.
Or even buy a drink from the shop and sit everywhere you want.
The tattoo shops are so popular among the tourist because
it's not so expensive but clean and nice work.
I also notice the braid hair shops are so popular for the tourist!
They love to braid their hair with beads or colorful fake hair.
The price is about 100Bath and you'll get the new hair style.WICKED!

Khao San Road is also the most perfect place for Songkran Festival!
Thai people and the tourist come here for play water fight, dancing, drinking, and have fun.
I have been there in Songkran Festival two years ago, until now I still remembering
how fantastic feeling to play water fight with my friends!

So don't forget to let me know about your opinion
And see you next week my dear friends :)

All time favorites!

From last week post, most of you guys have showed me your interest in old music from the film “Singin’ in the rain”, and I couldn’t have been happier! That’s why this time I’m going to introduce you to more old sweet music  by listing them into my top three all time favorite songs!! Choosing songs for this list was really hard for me because there are tons of song that I like, and believe me I can do it more, and more, and more, until you guys hate me………………….but as always, the post might be too long (actually I’m afraid that you guys won’t read it *sad face*) Any way, let’s start, shall we?

The first song is ‘You Belong to Me’ - Jo Stafford
Originally this song was sung by Sue Thompson but I love Stafford’s voice more. I think her voice is kind of soothing and really sweet. This song was written by three song writers, Pee Wee King, Chilton Price, and Redd Stewart.  For me this song has it all, its lyric, rhythm of music, and the voice of Jo Stafford, made me want to cry every time when I listen to. The song is talking about two people that are in love but one have to be away, so the one that stayed sing this song to the other to remind that where ever you are, remember that you are mind. I might have explained it a bit creepy but the whole song is very sweet and touching. Every time I listen to this song I always think of a woman crying at home and writing a letter to her lover to ensure her love to him, to remind him that he’s hers, because I think she must be very worry that her lover might find a new love and leave her.  I think most of everyone can relate to that feeling, because anything can happen and you never know what it is.  That’s why I think this song is very sad and sweet in the same time.

The next song is a French song called La Vie en rose by Edith Piaf
The first time I heard this song was when I watch the movie, Sabrina (1954) starring Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart (I will review this movie sometime in the future, such a lovely movie!). When I heard it, I was immediately fall in love with this song. I looked up the lyric on the internet and I found that the original was sung by Edith Piaf (that later becomes my favorite French singer).  Her voice is so good that it blew me away and made my eyes teary every time. I like this song so much that I tried to learn how to sing it, but it happened to be really really hard to sing French song when you can’t speak French! So I thought at least I could learn to understand the meaning of the song instead. Later when I searched the meaning of this song, I found the English version that sung by Louis Armstrong. His version was so delicately sweet. I mean, I love both version but when you understand the lyric, it gives you the feeling that you can connected to. Let’s hear both of them and decide it by yourself, which one do you prefer?

The last song for this week will always be on my playlist. It’s called ‘If I Didn’t Care’ by The Ink Spots
This song was written by Jack Lawrence and sung by The Ink Spots in 1939. I knew this song from the film, The Shawshank Redemption and later heard another modern version by Amy Adams from the film called Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Both versions are really good and I also love the differences feeling these two gave me. The version that sung by The Ink Spots is like the man is comforting and ensuring his girlfriend that he loves her, but the version that sung by Amy Adams is like the woman is confessing and admitting her secret love to the man. Ohhh I think I will never get over this song; it is so touching and heartwarming at the same time!! *sad and crying face*

That’s it for today, guys. I hope you all like it and I will keep up do more things like this! It’s FUN!

OVER AND OVER WITH THE SAME GIRL

Hi everyone, today i'm going to review 2 songs.
Both of them are my favorite songs. They are "Over and over" by Nelly ft. Tim McGraw and "Same girl" by Usher ft. R.Kelly. These songs released when I was junior high school student. During that time, hip-hop, pop-rock and pop are popular. Unlike these day, most of the songs are pop-dance. Too much of pop-dance song are annoying me, so today I'm going these 2 old songs because I really miss the music in that time.

First, I'm going to talk about "Over and over" by Nelly ft. Tim McGraw. Nelly is hip hop singer. Most of the hip-hop singers like to show off their stuffs to make them look cool and rich. For example, in their music video, we often see them wearing cool clothes (hip-hop style), they show their shoes, mobile phone, car, or bling bling stuffs. ( bling bling refers to flashy, ostentatious and elaborate jewelry or even their teeth.)
In this music video, we will see 2 side of it, one is Nelly's side and another one is Tim's side. This MV shows same things, but different atmosphere. Nelly's atmosphere is hip-hop style and Tim's atmosphere is country style. What I like about this music video is that it shows the different between culture and style of singer. For example, it shows the different of their clothes, accessories, cars, houses.
The song is talking about how the narrator regret about his love. He keeps thinking about it. His girl is leaving him and he tells in the songs how he hurts. The music is soft and really go with Nelly's voice. This song is catchy and it replay in my head over and over again.

This is the music video.

The next song that I'm going to review is "Same girl" by Usher ft. R.Kelly.

I like this song. I think it funny. The sound of the song is really go with the conversation in the song. The lyric and the music video is about 2 guys in love with the same girl. It starts with R.Kelly, telling Usher that he found a girl who he think that he really love. Usher listen to him and feel that this girl is so similar with his girl. They in love with the same girl and they think that they was fooled by her. Then they make plan to expose her, but it turn out to be..

Check it out by yourself.

Let's enjoy the show!

Hi there, Fellas! How are you guys doing? It was a tough week for us, wasn't it? All the midterm tests, projects, and night study, have put a lot of stress on us. That's why this time I'll bring you joy by adding some colors, music, and romance (as usual) to this week post. Be prepare to enjoy the show, because this time it will be fabulous because it is....wait for it.............MUSICAL!!!!

When you see the title of this film, you might be familiar with it because this film is very famous and it is consider to be a greatest musical of all time. Also it has won many awards. That's right you guys, it's "Singin' in the Rain".

Singin' in the Rain (1952) is a film by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly. This film known as Donen's most famous work and it has included many famous stars like Gene Kelly (yes, he also starred in it too), Donald O'connor, and Debbie Raynolds. The story of this film begins with two silent-film stars Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont, which are a romantic lovers on screen. However, that love doesn't happen in their real life, except for Lina who thinks that they are in love with each other. One day, Don runs into Kathy Selden (Debbie Raynolds) by accident and later they meet again in the Studio's party which turns out that Kathy is a chorus girl . Don and Kathy start to fall in love with each other as they met each time.
When the studio announces the news about the big change in film history, everyone are so exciting. Their silent-film will now be a talking picture. The studio plans to change Don and Lina most successful film into a talking version, but the process needs to stop in the middle because Lina's voice is so terrible. So, Cosmo Brown (Donald O'Connor) a friend of Don has an idea of dubbing Lina's voice with Kathy's, which is really beautiful. Lina wants to claim that Kathy's voice will always be her dub voice in order to destroy Kathy's opportunity in film business and the romance with Don, so she hires the lawyer to sue them, unless Kathy's works is cancel. In the premiere night of the film, Don reveal to everybody that it's Kathy who sings those beautiful songs not Lina. In the end Don and Kathy live happily with each other and Kathy becomes a famous star too.

This film is not only famous for the story but also its soundtracks. There are many songs that I love in this movie including its most famous song, "Singin' in the Rain". This song was performed by Gene Kelly in the scene that Don feels so happy to be loved by Kathy that even rain doesn't bothers him.

Another song that I like is "Would you", this song was performed by Debbie Reynolds in the scene that she sings for Lina's voice. In this scene, you will find the huge difference between Kathy's and Lina's voice. There's something about Debbie's voice that made me feel so good when I listen to it, so here it is, Would you.

The third songs that I choose is in one of my favourite scene which is when Don and Kathy met again in the party. In this scene the way that Don looked at Kathy gets me every time <3<3. If I were her in that scene, I think I might have fainted.

There are other great songs in this film that I want to show you like Make 'em Laugh, Good Morning, and Beautiful Girl, but if I do that I think this post will be too long. So, if you want to listen to other songs in this film, you can find it on Youtube. In the other hand, I highly recommend you to see the whole film and you will be in love with this magnificent musical film. Au Revoir.

By the way, I LOVE GENE KELLY!!

It's FRIDAY

Hi everybody, welcome to Starry Night music review.
Today I'm going to review one of the most famous song in 2011.
It's FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

By Rebecca Black.

Before I listened to the song, I heard a lot of the song'repatriations. Many people commented that this was the worst song ever. Many of my friends said that "You must listen to this song, it's suck.", but I can't imagine how bad it was. After I listened to the song... ,well, yeah, it's really suck.
This song is worse than the song that I wrote when I was eight.
When she sing, it just like she speak, not singing. The lyrics, nothing is special about the lyrics. She just explain her daily life, and she is looking forward to the weekend. The music video is so so. Her friends in the video act a bit like they is forced to play this video. Her hair is not done. Her cloths are so so. I think she can be prettier because originally she is pretty girl.

However, this song is powerful. After I listened to this song, IT STUCK IN MY HEAD FOREVER. I'm now listening to it and it starts to stuck in my head again. I found that this song is funny. It's really suck and that's why this song is special. It's quite enjoyable to sing the song and making joke about it with friends. My favorite lines are "fun fun fun fun", "tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes afterward." and "we we we so excited, we so excited, we gonna have a ball today.", brilliant! I also like her friends, waving their hands in the car, look cool!

Here is the music video.

Here is the better version.

Here are some of my favorite jokes.
They are hilarious.

                                                    My favorite one.

                                                           Finally..

I hope you guys like it. Have a nice day!
